NAR bestows Dick O'Connor status of Realtor Emeritus

The Bergen Record LogoThe National Association of Realtors honored Dick O’Connor of Dick O’Connor Real Estate at the annual RealSource Association of Realtors members breakfast on Oct. 12 at the Park Ridge Marriott and bestowed upon him the status of Realtor Emeritus. This status is a unique honor awarded in recognition of his years of valuable and lasting contribution to the real estate profession and his community. It is an honor not shared by many Realtors.

New York Times LogoAMID wildlife displays and pamphlets that are scattered around the office of the Tenafly Nature Center is a remnant of a developer’s plans to build high-rise buildings on a wooded, 200-acre property in this borough.

The remnant is a model of the buildings that the Centex Corporation of Dallas had planned to construct on the land now known as the Lost Brook Preserve. The company had bought the property from a private owner in 1973.
